ABOUT US

Covenant’s Vision is knowing Christ and making Christ known.

Covenant’s Mission is knowing Christ and making Christ known through:

1 Corinthians 10:31 tells us “…whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.” At Covenant, we believe that any time is the perfect time to give thanks and praise to God!

We currently have one traditional service every Sunday at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary.  Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.

Several times throughout the year we hold special services including:
• Easter Sunrise Service outside in front of Lake Loretta
• Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
• Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day Services to honor our Veterans
• National Back to Church Sunday

In addition, we enjoy having our very own bell choir, The Albany Chorale and others perform on special occasions.

Our service is also streamed live on our Facebook page and available there for viewing anytime.

We invite all to join us and worship Christ together!

At Covenant, we believe the Bible is the Word of God, God’s written revelation.  We would love for you to come study and discuss God’s Word with us. Plan to join us and experience the faith, hope, and love found in this incredible book!

At Covenant, we believe in making Christ known through missions. We have a history of organizing multiple mission trips each year, on the local, national, and international level. Our facility is a certified Red Cross shelter available for local disaster assistance and we have an active volunteer group that works together when needs arise within our community.

We are partnered with The Boys and Girls Club of America, and Albany’s Young Life to minister to our local young people. Covenant members also pair up with school children for tutoring with our own Whiz Kids program.

Other mission activities our members are actively involved in for 2022 -23 include:

Financial support to 10 local and other mission projects

Gods Recipe – providing Bible verses to local hospital patients

Sunday Evening With Our Neighbors (SEWN).  A partnership with other churches to serve the Albany homeless

Albany Rescue Mission – food drives

Operation Christmas Child – ministry of Samaritan’s Purse to send Christmas shoe boxes to children overseas

Preparing and serving meals to students at Georgia Southwestern University and Valdosta State University

Flower Ministry

Serving meals on 9/11 to our local first responders

Helping Hands Ending Hunger

Partnering with Flynn Bridges Ministry to serve a meal to high school football players each fall

And many others.

At Covenant, we believe we are all brothers and sisters in Christ! We hold several social events during the year designed to draw us closer to Christ and closer to each other as a church family.

We would love to have you to come be a part of our loving church family!
