Adult Social Groups
We have numerous opportunities for involvement here at Covenant!
In addition to our regular small group bible studies,
our adult social groups are the perfect blend of fellowship, study and service.
Take a look below and see which one suits you the best, and check back for upcoming events!
MEN OF THE CHURCH
Covenant’s Men of the Church is a fellowship group for Covenant’s men and their friends. The mission is to lead men into a vital relationship with Christ and to assist them in their spiritual, personal and community development. Fellowship events have included: Golf Scrambles, Fishing Tournaments, Quail Hunts, Breakfast Meetings, Dinners, Mission Projects, Bowling, Skeet Shooting, Cookouts, Wild Game Dinners and many other activities. Every MOC event includes a devotional and discussion about relevant topics.
COVENANT WOMEN
The Covenant Women are a very active part of Covenant and includes every woman in the church. There are two circles. The Circle of Hope meets September through May on the second Tuesday. They are studying 1st and 2nd Peter this year. The Circle of Faith meets monthly on the third Thursday and is studying Acts. The Covenant Women are involved in every facet of Covenant’s life. They prepare and serve meals for bereaved members and their families as well as Christmas Dinner, Mission Luncheons, and special events such as a ladies’ lunch and retreat. They donate to Thornwell Home, the Campus Ministry at Georgia Southwestern State University, Mission Haven, Samaritan’s Purse, the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, and love offerings. In addition to studying the Bible, they organize church areas, visit, and deliver flowers to members. When something needs to be done, they do it!
